Executive Team
Alexei Kudriashov, MD - Founder, President and CEO
Alexei Kudriashov has more than 20 years of international experience in technology business development, marketing and sales, and has gained an international reputation for establishing close, long-term relationships with the executive teams of his clients and partners. At SperaSoft, Dr. Kudriashov is responsible for driving the company's growth and market strategies, strategic business partnerships and management of rapidly growing, highly collaborative offshore development teams.
Prior to founding SperaSoft, Inc., Dr. Kudriashov managed various aspects of the Software Marketing Group at Sun Microsystems, where he directed business and channel strategy and management. His team drove adoption and deployment of Sun's business productivity suite worldwide. He also held key positions while growing the productivity suite line of business from zero into a multi million dollar revenue stream.
Earlier, Dr. Kudriashov was a Director of Business Development, European Division at Valtex International Corp., specializing in new business development, strategic marketing, and contract negotiation. He also founded Martak International, Inc., which distributed medical and other high-tech equipment overseas, drawing on his unusual qualifications as a medical doctor and eye surgeon. At Martak, he fine-tuned his skill at managing international groups of geographically separated employees and distributors turning them into close-knit, effective and highly collaborative teams.
Outside SperaSoft, Dr. Kudriashov co-founded and directs the American Business Association of Russian Professionals, or AmBAR (www.ambarclub.org), a nonprofit organization that fosters entrepreneurship among Silicon Valley-based professionals from CIS countries. As director of this group, he was the sole U.S. business association representative invited to speak and to chair a round table during the Russian Outsourcing and Software Summit, held in St. Petersburg in 2004. The RUSSoft summit is a high-profile industry event in the sphere of IT-outsourcing, software development and international cooperation on information technologies in Russia, CIS and Western Europe.
He also co-founded and is active on the executive committee of Silicon Valley Open Doors (www.svod.org), an annual technology investment conference that brings together dozens of high-tech innovators and start-ups from Russia and other former Soviet Union countries with U.S. sources of capital investment.
Dr. Kudriashov received an M.S. in Management and Business from MIT, Sloan School of Management, and his M.D. from Volgograd State Medical University, Russia, where he first became prominent as an expert in advanced high-tech medical devices and equipment.
Igor Efremov - Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Igor Efremov is responsible for technical and strategic direction of SperaSoft R&D and directs the SperaSoft Network Operations Center Services (NOC) line of business.
Prior to founding SperaSoft, Mr. Efremov worked for over eight years with Electronic Arts (EA), the world's leading independent developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software. At EA, he held various senior technical positions including Network Operations Center Lead, Senior Enterprise System Management Engineer and Senior Unix Administrator.
Prior to EA, Mr. Efremov founded IVEX, LLC, a business integration consulting services company providing IT services to large banks and government organizations in Russia. IVEX specialized in supplying clients with computers, servers and printing equipment, providing integration services plus maintenance and support. Under his leadership, IVEX grew quickly from zero to over $2 million in revenues and then was sold profitably to a competitor.
Mr. Efremov holds a Master of Social Science Degree from Yakutsk State University, Russia.
Denis Larkin - Director of Engineering
Denis Larkin brings a wealth of experience and skills to SperaSoft, including an uncommon specialty in managing offshore software development practices, enterprise systems and architecture design. Mr. Larkin has proven leadership skills in building and managing cross-cultural engineering teams in multiple locations.
At SperaSoft, Mr. Larkin is responsible for recruiting and staffing, team-building, project development and building solid customer relationships based on SperaSoft performance. He oversees execution of projects in a geographically distributed environment, develops and tracks integrated project plans including the managed development of project deliverables.
To carry out these responsibilities, he assists staff and clients with application problems and issues involving software capabilities and performance. He actively supervises or consults on development of a broad range of projects, including ASP.NET portals and mobile applications for Window Mobile/J2ME/ARM platforms, Java Intranet CMS/Monitoring portals, and development projects for Linux and Macintosh systems.
Prior to joining SperaSoft in 2004, as an independent contractor Mr. Larkin led development, architecture and solutions implementation on .NET, J2EE, J2ME, and Web platforms. He also helped design the Russian Government Federal Educational Portal, where he directed Web-based educational systems implementation in the fields of Physics, Math and Chemistry.
Mr. Larkin holds a Master of Science Degree in IT from St. Petersburg University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, Russia.
Anna Fedorova - Director of Operations
Anna Fedorova brings to the company a decade of experience and outstanding skills in the Russian Telecommunication and IT services sectors. Ms. Fedorova manages SperaSoft's day-to-day business operations and HR Policies, directing and coordinating office staff members in numerous global locations.
Prior to joining SperaSoft, she held senior account management positions with companies including Baltic Communications (BCL), a British-Russian joint venture telephone company, ZAO Citibank Russia, and Golden Telecom, a leading provider of integrated telecommunications and Internet services in Russia and CIS countries. Ms. Fedorova is recognized for building from scratch, organizing and directing the work of customer service departments and for managing and growing VIP and top-level corporate client accounts.
Ms. Fedorova holds a Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Eastern European University, St. Petersburg, Russia.
