US outsourcing and IT services specialist taps Volgograd's highly-qualified talent for new software development center
Sperasoft, the Silicon Valley outsourcing specialist providing high-value, project-dedicated development teams based in Russia, today announced it has opened a new outsourcing development center in Volgograd, Russia. The development center will leverage the U.S. management team’s existing relationships in the region, including the Volgograd State Technical University, to recruit new team members for offshore development projects.
The Volgograd Development Center is Sperasoft’s second software outsourcing center in Russia. The first is in St. Petersburg, where the company has a close relationship with the St. Petersburg Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics. The new facility in Volgograd will leverage Russia’s growing pool of software developers highly-qualified to serve a global outsourcing market that has all but exhausted available talent in many global regions. Recent growth by Sperasoft and the U.S. management team’s familiarity with Volgograd area resources, including regional technical training institutions, also led to the company’s decision to expand there.
